For the 4th year in a row, Andrew Hine (age 13) is challenging himself to run five 5K events in 2018. In 2015, Andrew became a member of a team of campers and staff of North Woods, Pleasant Valley and Sandy Island Camps who took the challenge to run to raise money for kids who would otherwise not be able to afford overnight camp. Because of this experience, in 6th and 7th grade, Andrew ran for his middle school's cross-country (fall) and track (spring) teams. Andrew has attended North Woods Camp on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee for the last five summers and will return again this summer.
Here is a note from Andrew directly:
"The reason I am running and have been doing this for a couple years is for one simple reason. I care. Camp is very fun for me, but is a privilege that many kids do not have. I would like to step up and be a part of a better world and entitling these kids to be able to have fun without fear or stress from their lives at home. And so they can relax and enjoy camp. It would be great if you donated to help those kids in need go to camp."
Please consider donating to Andrew's fundraising efforts and help send a child to camp who otherwise wouldn't be able to.
Thank you for your tax-deductible donation and your amazing support!
